Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to join our Direct Marketing Department at Logical. Based full-time at our Imperial Square office in Cheltenham, this permanent role offers a competitive basic salary with uncapped commission. The role focuses on creating, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach and research. You will play a key role in starting meaningful energy conversations with prospective clients, supporting the wider commercial function, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented working environment.

Role Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound activity and research.
- Identify and engage prospective clients using telephone, LinkedIn, email, and other digital channels.
- Research potential client opportunities using LinkedIn, media, press, and sector insight.
- Develop and nurture professional relationships with prospective clients, building familiarity and trust.
- Accurately capture and maintain opportunity data within CRM systems.
- Work closely with the wider the Head of Department, the team and Sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing insight, feedback, and best practice.
- Work towards realistic and achievable performance targets aligned with team and business objectives.
Requirements and Skills
- Previous experience in a sales, business development, or target-driven commercial environment.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing daily activity targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient, with a positive attitude towards learning and development.
